珠海莫扎特国际青少年音乐周获奖选手蔡珂宜将领衔演奏布鲁赫的《g小调第一小提琴协奏曲》。这部协奏曲是19世纪浪漫主义音乐的杰出代表,其优美的旋律、丰富的情感和高超的技巧,自1866年首演以来就广受欢迎。在音乐爱好者圈定的“十大小提琴协奏曲”里它更是占有重要一席。此前,蔡珂宜曾在Lawrence Renes的指挥下与新加坡交响乐团演绎过。而10月27日,她将携手广州交响乐团,再次演绎这部经典作品。

Chloe Chua, former winner of Zhuhai Mozart International Youth Music Week, will lead the performance of Bruch's "Violin Concerto No. 1 in G Minor". This concerto is an outstanding representative of 19th century romantic music. Its beautiful melody, rich emotions and superb techniques have been widely popular since its premiere in 1866. It occupies an important position in the "Top Ten Violin Concertos" circled by music lovers. Previously, Chloe performed it with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Lawrence Renes. On October 27, she will join hands with the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra to perform this classic work again.

Get ready for a tender and dreamy music splendour! Relive the endearing magic of Tchaikovsky’s sublime ballet when MPO presents the Swan Lake Suite, capturing the love story between Prince Siegfried and Odette, within a universe of idealism, pursuit of perfection and the presence of good and evil. The concert opens with Singapore’s young violinist Chloe Chua casting her musical charm with the MPO through Wieniawski’s melodic Violin Concerto No. 2, widely considered his finest work.

Internationally acclaimed Singapore Symphony Orchestra, joined by 17-year-old violin sensation Chloe Chua, make their highly anticipated Australian debut in February 2025. Conducted by visionary Music Director Hans Graf and also featuring Australian-born principal cellist Ng Pei‑Sian, the Singapore Symphony will perform a spectacular afternoon of Romantic favourites in QPAC’s Concert Hall. In Brahms’ final orchestral work, the 1887 Double Concerto, violin and cello are a match made in heaven as they interweave in intricate harmony.

Tchaikovsky’s towering fifth symphony embodies the exhilarating richness of Russian Romanticism. Anguished passionate melody and luscious orchestration feature in this most intoxicating of symphonies. Luciola singapura, a shimmering new work by award-winning Singaporean composer Koh Cheng Jin, celebrates the discovery of a new species of luminous firefly found deep in Singapore’s Nee Soon Forest. With the addition of the Yang Qin (Chinese dulcimer), it is a vivid evocation of the Singapore Firefly’s golden appearance and mysterious allure.
